Summer time is just around the corner, and in light of this, here’s a fun, easy, colorful, and practical craft that you can easily create. Do you ever sit at your desk and wish your phone was upright so you could see your notifications at a single glance?

We came across this adorably cute phone holder while perusing Pinterest for inspiration. This craft uses supplies you have around your house: such as a toilet paper roll, scissors, and thumb tacks. While this particular crafter used Washi tape, you could also use thick wrapping paper to achieve the same look.

The steps are super easy to follow, so make sure to check out the original blog post for the full tutorial, but here are the basic steps:

1. Take a toilet paper roll and place your phone on top. Draw a rectangular outline that will fit the phone comfortably.
2. Wrap washi tape around the toilet paper roll in a design that suits you
3. Cut the tape or wrapping paper where the rectangular hole is and wrap and tape it under
4. Push the thumbtacks underneath to form the “legs”
