While it seemed tailored for beach adventures, she found that it beautifully complemented all the cherished memories she had from her lake fun as well. Sam began with choosing the papers she will use to back up her photos and created this simple layout.

Sun Squad Scrapbooking Layout by Samantha Taylor

Just chillin' fun fold by Leslie Turner 

Leslie says this is another summer collection that's awesome! She created a fun twisted gate fold using paper and stickers along with chipboard and adhesive brads from the upgrades!

She cut the card base from white cardstock along with layering panels from two coordinating patterned papers in the collection. She chose a chipboard phrase from the upgrades for the focal element and layered it on an additional print. She finished the front by adding two adhesive brads.

She cut the inside panel from white cardstock and embellished it with a strip of the patterned paper used on the front with the chipboard and added a couple of stickers from the sticker sheet.

Sun and Fun gift card holder by Leslie Turner

Leslie totally loves this collection with all the coordinating and fun summery papers and elements. She created a gift card holder using coordinating papers along with items from the upgrades. Who wouldn't love to receive this holding a gift card to use for a beach party?!

She cut the gift card holder base from white cardstock along with layering panels and an embellishing strip from coordinating papers in the kit. She rounded the bottom corners on the front flap and chose a large sentiment from the adhesive brads in the upgrades. She finished the front by adding a small disc magnet for the closure which she adhered to with a strong adhesive. 

She adhered to a tag from the frames & tags in the upgrades for the inside sentiment which completed the gift card holder.

Happy Place fun fold by Leslie Turner

Leslie says the papers and stickers in this collection are so fun, and they are great for creating beach-themed fun folds! She created this swing easel card using papers and stickers along with a chipboard element and adhesive brads from the upgrades, and it’s full of waves and critters!

She cut the card base from white cardstock along with layers and an embellishing strip from several coordinating papers in the kit. She trimmed a journaling card from the kit for the focal element and added several stickers from the sticker sheet and the turtle chipboard element from the adhesive brads in the upgrades. The finishing touch was adding two additional adhesive brads.

And one final view of the card folded flat for mailing!

Sun Squad step by Leslie Turner

Leslie says the fact that every single paper and element in this month’s collection coordinates with all the others makes it that much more fun to create with! She made a mini slimline size step card and is sharing her measurements for this fun fold HERE. This card showcases papers and stickers as well as items in the upgrades!

She cut the card base from white cardstock along with layers from two coordinating papers in the kit as well as a length of crocheted lace from her stash. She chose the focal element from the frames & tags in the upgrades and then added several stickers from the sticker sheet which she popped up on foam strips. 

She finished the front by adding two adhesive brads from the upgrades. She cut the back panel from white cardstock and embellished it with a sticker from the sticker sheet.

Beachy Block by Leslie Turner

Leslie really likes the patterns and colors in this month’s collection and created a colorful quilt block card. She chose a bold black and white stripe pattern with complimentary red and white star patterned paper along with chipboard stamp elements, a tag, and adhesive brads from the upgrades!

She cut a standard A2 size side-folding card base from white cardstock along with a layering panel and embellishing strip from two bold patterns in the collection. She chose four stamps from the chipboard phrases and a tag from the frames & tags in the upgrades for the card front. She finished the front by adding two red brads from the adhesive brads in the upgrades.

She embellished the inside with a strip of red and white star-patterned paper used on the front along with a square die cut and a stamp sticker from the sticker sheet.
