Project Inspiration for June Kit

We’re so excited to present our June layout and craft ideas created by our fabulous Design Team members using our Pool Party Collection Kit by Echo Park

Hello Summer Scrapbooking Layout

Marci Bensing

Marci started this sunny layout by choosing a patterned background and layering a strip of the bathing suits paper along the bottom, accented with ribbon from her stash. She matted three photos in white and added another piece of the bathing suits paper in the upper left, along with a coordinating cut-apart element beside the lower photo to create a balanced foundation. For the finished page, Marci added thin black mats behind the patterned paper pieces to make them stand out, then created playful clusters using stickers from the collection. She layered swimsuit embellishments around the "Life Is Better in a Swimsuit" title, added sunglasses, a sun hat, and a "Hello Summer" embellishment near the photos, and finished the design with a fun pool-themed cluster featuring a beach ball, "Hello Sunshine," and dimensional accents that capture the carefree spirit of summer.

Prom 2026 Scrapbooking Layout

Marci Bensing

Marci began this elegant layout by creating a simple foundation with two double-matted photos on a striped, patterned paper background. She added a second patterned paper behind the photos in a vertical design, giving the page extra depth while keeping the focus on the special memories.

To complete the layout, Marci cut the "Prom 2026" title from cardstock using her Silhouette Cameo and placed it beneath the photos as the focal point. She embellished both sides of the photos with doilies and flowers from her stash, then finished the page with a small cluster in the upper left featuring a layered doily, a cardstock banner, and a coordinating word phrase from the kit for a soft, elegant finishing touch.

Beach Bag A2 Card Scrapbooking Layout

Leslie Turner

Leslie created a fun card with a pool-side theme to it that features papers and stickers from this month’s collection. She had a new die set in her stash that she was dying to use, and the papers in this kit were perfect! She added a panel of striped paper from the kit to the front of the card base and then fashioned a pool using another print and some white cardstock. She created the beach bag, sunglasses, water bottle, lotion and sunscreen using the new die set she mentioned. She used several prints from the kit along with some solid colors of cardstock from her stash for the die cut elements, which she added to the card front, popping a few of them up on foam squares. The final step for the card front was adding a sentiment sticker from the sticker sheet.

10 Minute Shaped Card Scrapbooking Layout

Leslie Turner

Leslie created this charmingly shaped card by cutting a folded cardstock base with a shape die, allowing the fold to remain intact for a unique card design. She layered coordinating patterned papers on both the front and inside, then added a journaling card as the focal panel, raising it with thin foam squares for subtle dimension.

To finish the card, Leslie added a white panel inside for a handwritten sentiment before decorating the front with coordinating embellishments from the collection. The layered details and dimensional elements come together to create a beautiful handmade card that's perfect for celebrating any special occasion.

Summer Fun Fold Card Scrapbooking Layout

Leslie Turner

Leslie created this interactive gate fold card by layering coordinating patterned papers across each section, giving every fold a beautiful pop of color and design. After carefully scoring and burnishing the folds for smooth movement, she added a crisp white center panel that provides the perfect space for a handwritten message. The stitched rectangle focal panel, complete with a sweet sentiment, adds a polished finishing touch while allowing the unique fold to remain the star of the design.

To complete the card, Leslie attached the focal panel to one side of the gate fold so it opens with ease, creating a fun surprise for the recipient. A few thoughtfully chosen embellishments bring extra texture and charm, making the finished card both elegant and interactive. It's a wonderful design that highlights beautiful patterned papers while offering a memorable way to share a heartfelt greeting.

Watermelon Themed Diorama Scrapbooking Layout

Leslie Turner

Leslie created this eye-catching interactive card by carefully folding and burnishing the multiple score lines to form a unique dimensional design. A circular aperture was die cut into the center of the card, then framed with a layered scalloped border to draw attention to the beautiful window effect. Inside, she added patterned paper and a coordinating journaling card that peeks through the opening, creating a fun surprise as the card is opened. To finish the project, Leslie secured the folded structure to the back panel for stability before adding a heartfelt sentiment to the reverse side. Thoughtfully placed embellishments complete the design with extra texture and personality, making this interactive card both elegant and memorable. The layered window, decorative frame, and hidden message come together to create a card that's as enjoyable to open as it is to display.
