Melissa created a playful layout by diagonally placing three 4x4” photos and layering green and word-patterned papers at the bottom. She added tulip clusters using a Cricut cut file—two near the bottom and one tucked between photos. Embellishments from the sticker sheet and upgrade pack frame the photos, with a banner connecting the bottom two. The “SMILE” and “moments captured” stickers highlight the fun, and the bottom right cluster is filled with die cuts, card kit pieces, and flower centers. Three hearts on the word paper point to sweet phrases like “Love / Dream / Smile.”

We’re so excited to present our May layout and craft ideas created by our fabulous Design Team members using our Hello Lovely collection by Photo Play
Birthday Girl Scrapbooking Layout
Marci created this cheerful birthday layout to celebrate Marrah’s 12th birthday in style! She used a soft pink patterned background as the base, then arranged four fun photos in a grid to capture sweet moments from the diner celebration—complete with cake, candles, and lots of laughter. The bold white “Birthday Girl” title at the top sets the tone, while playful embellishments like “Smile” and “Make it Happen” add extra charm. On the right, Marci included a journaling block with the party details and a funny note about candles that just wouldn’t blow out! She finished it off with a sparkly “12,” layered florals, and heart accents to tie it all together. This layout is a perfect snapshot of birthday joy, and Marci totally brought the celebration to life on the page.
Happiest Birthday Scrapbooking Layout
Melissa whipped up two beautiful birthday cards using papers and die cuts from the May kit. For the card on the left, she layered a dark green panel over the typewriter-print background, then added a large floral bouquet die cut on top of a circle cut from patterned paper. She finished it with a layered “happy birthday” tag tied with twine. For the second card, Melissa created a fun flap design using floral paper on the top and striped paper below, backed with soft pink floral paper. She stamped “Happiest Birthday” on a white hexagon and added sequins for a bit of sparkle. Quick, pretty, and perfect for spring birthdays!
It's your day Scrapbooking Layout
Melissa had fun mixing patterns for these two cheerful birthday cards! For the card on the left, she layered several strips of patterned paper and topped it off with a large floral die cut and a scalloped “happy birthday” sentiment. A little twine bow adds the perfect finishing touch. On the right card, Melissa went bold with a pink base and mustard background, then added rows of coordinating paper strips. A festive banner spans the top, and more florals and twine frame the sentiment below. Both cards are full of color, texture, and charm—ready to brighten someone’s special day!
