Trendy Ombre Design Cards
Ombre, who doesn’t love it? There’s something eye-catching about the progression of color from one shade to another. Most recently it’s gaining popularity in salons where hair is colored to progress from one color to another and now it’s kind of everywhere: t-shirts, dresses, paper goods, artwork, you name it!
But one of the most common, and overlooked, places ombre has been for years is your local paint department! How often have you walked past those swatches of paint? They always seem to catch the eye and now you might want to grab a few for you next project.
Today we highlight the inspiration of Bex from the blog Olive Dragonfly. She found a creative little way of using punches and some fun colored paint swatches to create simple, yet fun cards!
These cards look so fun and are easy to make for any occasion! We all have plenty of seasonal punches laying around. I’m going to have to run to the paint department now to get started on some cards of my own.
