August and September seem to be prime times for birthdays, or at least, that’s what it seems like to us! Today we have some fabulous inspiration for you. Beautiful, originalscrapbookinsgstore.com DIY birthday cards, made by one of our amazing design team members!
This first inspiration is delectably sweet (see what I did there?).Using a woven card stock paper as the background, the pink scrapbook paper was used to color-block the cover along with a square cutout of the cardboard. Finally, the white paper and cupcake sticker were the cherry on top of the birthday card!
This colorful card is the perfect card for the lively person in your life! The balloons represented in the card are tied by a beautiful rope, ready to be released when the party begins. Our designer printed the words Happy Birthday on white card stock paper for the base of the card, rather than using alpha stickers. She also used a stencil to trace the circles on patterned paper, then carefully cut them out, creating the beautiful balloon effect.
Metallic paper is so versatile and makes beautiful paper butterflies! This is one of our favorites because the metallic paper gives the card a pleasant ethereal experience.
Last but not least, here’s an incredibly simple card that you could create quickly. You don’t have to have the best artistic skills, just have to be able to draw a few straight lines 🙂
