Freeze the moment with these adorable winter delight scrapbook layouts from our awesome Design team members using our winterful January kitA Perfect Winter by Echo Park. Cold weather gives us an excuse to scrap more 😉

Let's start with our first adorable layout by Marci!

1. Bundle Up by Marci Bensing

Marci started her layout by laying out all of the supplies from the collection along with 2 photos. She was inspired by the sketch from December class but turned it sideways! Next, she created her background paper by using parts of 3 papers in the collection.

Marci used the red paper to create 1/4 inch border strips above and below "tis the season to be freezin'" and she used the same red paper to frame the 2 photos. Once she had her base page created, she worked around the page to embellish.

Here you can see what she have added from this collection. She used pop dots to provide some dimension under the flag border above the photos, to the owl at the top and to the Bundle up lower right. 2. Let It Snow by Meggy Blethen

Meggy shared with us one of the layouts she made with the January kit. This one was so fun to play with for Meggy! She LOVES scrapbooking snow photos. She started her layout by picking her background paper and she used 'Snowlake Swirls' from the kit. Then she cut her photos to her desired size 3.25x5.75.  Next, she matted her photos on desired paper, she used 'Winter Berries' and she cut another mat out of 'Winter Berries', approximately 5.75x3.25.

Meggy cut out 3 banners for the top right cluster. Also, she cut down one of the banners from the upgrade kit for the cluster with the 3 banners. She embellished the top left cluster with stickers from the sticker sheet in the main kit. Then, she glued down photos at an angle and a little over lapping each other.

She then added stickers to the top right of the bottom photo and the bottom left of the top photo. Lastly, added the Title 'Let it Snow' from the sticker sheet and embellish around it with sticker from the upgrade kit.

3. Naughty or Nice by Melissa Bierlein

Even though this looks like a Christmas layout and could be a Christmas layout it’s not! There is this fabulous little town in southern Indiana called Santa Claus, IN. Melissa had the pleasure of attending a scrapbook retreat there in February of last year with some great crafting friends. This HUGE Santa was in front of the hotel where the retreat was held.

Cut file: The Santa cut file is from Paige Taylor Evans and was part of this years 25 cut files in December. She cut the file out on her Cricut with Bazzil white glitter cardstock. Then backed the file with cardstock from her scraps, patterned paper from the kit and the lined paper is also from her stash. Then, she used Liquid Applique on the Santa hat, pom pom, fur on Santas coat and cuffs and legs of his pants. Also, she sprinkled it with chunky glitter before heating with a heat gun (Liquid Applique is a product that when heated it puffs up). She did the same technique on Santa’s beard and mustache but left off the glitter.

As for the background, Melissa used the same glitter paper that she cut the Santa with (covered up the cut out) and covered it with the teal check paper cut to 11.5 X 11.5. She added a sticker strip to the bottom of the page and popped up the Santa cut file with foam tape.

For the title, Melissa used the cute Remarks alpha stickers from the upgrades to spell out 'Naughty or Nice?’. As for the photo area, she double matted the photo with the wood grain paper that coordinates with the sticker strip she used at the bottom of the layout and the red hounds tooth paper which she also used for the Santa suit. Next, she popped this up with foam tape. Then added a banner from the upgrades at the bottom of the photo and one of the super cute snowmen on the bottom right.

Hidden Journaling: Melissa located behind the photo states, where, when and with who! She cut two banner pieces from the upgrades to place back to back on the edge of the journaling for pull out purposes. Don't forget to check Melissa's blog to get more winter delight scrapbook ideas.

4. Sledding Layout by Samantha Taylor

Sam's husband and oldest son are snowmobilers, so she can never have too much winter and snow themed paper. The deep, rich blues in January’s kit are perfect for scrapping outdoor winter photos with those crisp icy blue skies. Sam started her layout by choosing her base paper and she chose winter berries as her background. She then added the double sided snowflake flurry paper on top. The Snowy night paper from the kit was just perfect for highlighting and backing up her photos.

Sam used bits and pieces from all the upgrades this month. She used the Heidi Swapp Color Pop Banner on the upper left corner along with the “wintertime” from the sticker sheet. Shen then used the AC remark stickers to create a title that blends perfectly with the winter theme. Finally, she added stickers from the 12x12 sticker sheet around the photos. This is a simple yet beautiful layout to follow along.

5. Snow Day Layout by Sara Mishler - Sara Scraps

Sara used the Snowy Stripe paper as her background. She then trimmed the following strips from the patterned paper: Snowlake Swirls - .75X11, Snowflake Flurry- 1.5X11 and .75X11, Winter Berries- 1.5X11, Floral Flurries- 1.5X11 and Snowy Night- .75X11. Next, she used the Snowy Night paper to mat three 3X4 photos.

Sara started by layering the strips of patterned paper overlapping each. She popped up the .75 strips with foam adhesive and placed the 3 photos to create a triangle above the strips. Also, she added her title and 3 of the snowmen (bows and jewels removed) to the strips where they will create contrast.

She used the stickers and foam tape to create three embellishment clusters among the photos. Sara finished it with one of the fun banners across the top of the page. Make sure to watch Sara's Youtube channel and get to see more winter delight scrapbook ideas!

6. A Winter Wonderland by Beth Soler

Beth started her layout by using the Snowflake Flurry paper #APW136005 as her main paper. She cut a strip from the Border Strips paper #APW136013 and attached to the side of her layout. Next, she printed three photos and left one as 4x6. Then, she trimmed the other two photos to 4x4's.

Beth backed the 4x4 photos with a piece of blue vellum paper that she had in her stash and ripped the top and bottom pieces of the vellum to create a ripped effect. Also, she cut a piece of cardstock to 2x4 and adhered it above her 4x6 photo to create a grid layout. Lastly, she embellished her layout using the stickers from the sticker sheet. Make sure you check out Beth's Youtube channel and get inspired with her winter scrapbook ideas.
