Wickedly Cute Scrapbooking Layout by Samantha Taylor

In this Halloween-themed layout crafted by Sam, the UPS delivery person shines as the beloved companion of their basset hound, Kevin. It's Kevin's inaugural Halloween, and the choice of attire is a playful UPS guy costume. The layout incorporates a delightful blend of colors, with a particularly appealing greenish hue from the kit. This color scheme complements the Halloween theme, featuring the classic orange and black elements.

The layout's foundation is the ghost-themed paper, serving as a backdrop for the design. Atop this, a 12" x 6 3/4" section of orange star paper is added, followed by a 12" x 5 3/4" piece of paper adorned with Halloween words in black. These layered papers serve as the framework for the carefully curated Halloween photos.

To enhance the visual appeal, Sam embellished the layout with strategically placed stickers sourced from the accompanying sticker sheet. Additionally, they incorporated ephemera, enamel dots, and chipboard pieces from the embellishment upgrade kit to create clusters of eye-catching decorations that bring this Halloween layout to life.

The versatility of the kit is on full display on this layout, demonstrating that it can be used for more than just traditional Halloween photos. While the embellishments in the kit lean towards a Halloween theme (you may want to add your own from your stash for variety), the papers themselves prove to be quite adaptable.

Sam showcases that it's entirely possible to craft layouts using only the embellishments found in the October base kit and upgrade kit. In one layout, the star-patterned paper takes center stage, serving as a backdrop for a track-related design. However, this paper is equally suitable for commemorating accomplishments, birthdays, or school-themed pages.

On the other hand, the plaid and black-and-white striped papers featured in Sam's costume layout exhibit remarkable versatility. They are particularly well-suited for showcasing masculine photos, expanding the kit's potential beyond Halloween-themed projects.
