Deck the Halls Scrapbooking Layout by Samantha Taylor

Sam admire the classic red and green color scheme featured in the current month's kit. The abundance of simple patterned papers creates a perfect backdrop, allowing both photos and embellishments to stand out. The layout begins with the selection of a piece of floral paper, chosen as the foundational base. A diagonally cut piece of black plaid paper is strategically layered on top to add depth and visual interest.

Following the layered effect, a 4 3/4" x 10" strip of red dot paper is introduced, contributing to the harmonious composition. Carefully, they incorporate their chosen photo and a journaling tag, enhancing the personal touch of the layout.

To bring the entire design together, stickers sourced from the accompanying sticker sheet are skillfully placed, providing a delightful finishing touch that ties the elements cohesively. The result is a well-crafted and visually appealing creation that highlights the beauty of the color scheme and allows the individual elements to shine.

Joy Scrapbooking Layout by Samantha Taylor

Sam observes the potential transformation of the kit with the embellishment upgrade for the current month, recognizing its capacity to alter the overall aesthetic. In this particular layout, the focus is on showcasing the versatility of incorporating elements from the embellishment upgrade while documenting new traditions initiated in the current year.

The process begins with the selection of two pieces of patterned paper from the base kit, establishing a foundation for the layout. However, the true creative depth emerges as layers from the embellishment upgrade are introduced to artfully frame the featured photos.

Strategic choices of paper and chipboard embellishments from the upgrade, designed with colors complementing those found in the base kit's papers, are utilized with precision. This intentional selection serves to seamlessly tie together the various components, resulting in a visually cohesive and engaging composition that effectively captures the essence of the newly established traditions.

Winter Wonderland Mini Albumby Leslie Turner

Leslie  says she is in full-on Christmas mode and loves all the papers and stickers along with the upgrades in this month’s kit. She made a super cute mini album to share with us featuring journaling cards, papers, and stickers from the kit and ephemera and stickers from the upgrades.

The album consists of trimmed 3x4 journaling cards and coordinating patterned paper panels adhered to both sides of white cardstock panels. The front and back sides of each page were embellished with stickers from the sticker sheet in the kit, ephemera and stickers from the upgrades, and gemstones from her stash. Pull-ups, pull-outs, and die cuts were added to most of the pages. The album was bound with two rings embellished with green ribbon.

Clean and Simple Christmas Card by Leslie Turner

Leslie loves the fact that the papers, stickers, and upgrades in the kits each month coordinate so well. On the flip side of that, she wanted to demonstrate that the stickers in this Christmas collection are pretty enough to stand alone on a clean and simple A2 card. This design worked up very quickly and would be easy to mass-produce!

The card base and background were cut from white cardstock. Any kind of background die would work for this clean and simple technique. The focal image and sentiment stickers from the sticker sheet were adhered to white cardstock, fussy cut, and adhered to the card front on foam squares. The finishing touch was adding several iridescent gemstones.

The inside is clean and simple as well, embellished with border and sentiment stickers from the sticker sheet.

Very Merry Double Flap Fun Fold by Leslie Turner

Leslie says she can’t stop swooning over the gorgeous prints in this month’s collection. She is a self-proclaimed fun fold fanatic and has created a double flap fun fold which features several papers and stickers from the December kit.

The card base and circle flap were cut from white cardstock and embellished with three patterned papers from the collection. A sentiment sticker from the sticker sheet was added along with several light green gemstones from her stash. The finishing touch was tying a white twine bow to the left-hand flap. An additional white die-cut circle and sentiment sticker were added to the inside.
