I hope you are loving all of the card inspiration that we have been posting lately because we sure have! We have posted 4 excellent DIY birthday inspiration cards, a beautiful baby shower card, and an anniversary card, just to name a few. A great way to complement those handmade birthday cards is to create a beautiful designer envelope to match!

Today’s inspiration comes from one of our own designers, who decided she wanted to start making handmade envelopes using the beautiful paper she has been receiving from our kits. She purchased this 1-2-3 punch board that trims any paper into beautiful designer envelopes and was able to create the beautiful pieces below.

Using the tool depicted above, she created edges so crisp, it looks like it was professionally made with a machine! But lo and behold it is just a simple contraption that was able to achieve the same effect. The butterflies were made using a butterfly punch stamp, which can be found in many craft stores or online.

Our designer also created another card set using the same We R Memory Punch Board, but the different paper of course! We love the look of the dark purple polka dotted paper which adds a touch of elegance and class.

The Happy Birthday card is also simple, but extremely elegant. The pink and gold in the card tie well with the purple polka dot envelope.
