WHOA. This is one of the cutest and coolest scrapbooking/altered art projects I’ve ever seen. What’s even better perhaps is how it came to fruition. The moral of the story: its all about letting your creative juices flow and then watching them take you to new heights. This project initially was going to “simply” be a door shaped mini-album. But then the creative road took a turn and all of a sudden you have that album as the doorway to a larger hand-craft house! …Would definitely make for an adorable housewarming or wedding gift.
This wonderful scrapbooking community of ours seriously never ceases to amaze me.

I love this idea. I wish I had seen this 6 months ago when I did an accordion album for my domestic partners customer and friend. He is a remodeling contractor and this job was a major addition. I did before, after and progress shots. It was my first album so it was trial and error and a lot of research on Pinterest. They loved it and that’s what counts. The next one will be better and I can’t wait to see what that will be.
