5 Spring Scrapbook Layout Ideas
Have you started making things with your March scrapbook kit already? Our Design team couldn't wait any longer and made these AMAZING Spring scrapbook layouts from our MARCH 2019 MONTHLY KIT.
1. Scrapbook Girl Layout by Becky Bacchus
Let's start with one of our prestigious DT members, Becky Bacchus. She loves the March 2019 Kit color combination and design of the patterned papers, tags and stickers. Becky made a beautiful, bright and cheerful 12x12 Scrapbook layout as a result.
The layout started with strips of patterned paper along the left and right side of a white card stock background. She then added some twine, beautiful floral upgrades and the enamel shapes from the March kit.
Next, Becky added clusters to the bottom right of the page and photo. She cut the tags in half, put them at the lower right side of the layout and placed the top part of a heart on top of the tag. She then used some of the stickers from the sticker sheet along with a border, some phrases and enamel dots to embellish her layout.
Her layout is a work of art, and it was a wonderful and quick layout process. Watch the tutorial video below and follow along to see step by step how she came up with such an astonishing layout.
2. Summer Rain Layout by Melissa Bierlein
Who says you can’t use a spring kit for a summer layout?! Our DT member Melissa Bierlein gave us an early glimpse of summer by sharing this spectacular layout from our March 2019 Kit.
Melissa saw the rain paper and immediately thought of these photos. The circles, leaves and title were all cut on her Cricut. The stitched circles were downloaded from Etsy; they are so cute and they coordinate well with the stitching on the tags from our kit.
The title "Summer Rain" was cut four times on the Cricut. Then, it was layered and glued together to add dimension. In person, it almost looks like a chipboard title. The white cardstock is from Anthology by Lisa Bearnson. While the title and leaves cardstock is from Bazzil. The strip ‘Love this Life’ is from Becky Higgins and was in a previous ScrapbookingStore.com kit. And finally, we LOVE these paper flowers from American Crafts that are included in March’s 2019 kit.
We hope you enjoy this attractive layout and don't forget to checkout Melissa Bierlein's Instagram Page to see more of her designs.
3. Gardening Theme Layout by Samantha Taylor
Samantha Taylor from our Design Team came up with a stunning layout which follows a gardening theme using the fun Spring kit papers from our March Kit.
Sam used a small portion of the gardening themed patterned paper and built the entire layout around that piece of paper. Since her photos were a bit dark, she used the green and yellow papers to add a bright, fresh pop of color.
She loves the tags from the UPGRADED kit. She trimmed off the top of one of the tags to turn it into a rectangle for journaling and to fit with the flow of her layout. For finishing touches, she added a few stickers from the kit and enamel hearts from the upgrade.
We love how Samantha played with the elements in the kit including embellishments and patterned papers! Don't forget to check more of her designs on her blog.
4. HAPPY DAY Layout by Nicole Martel
We have two layouts by Nicole Martel. She shared two simple layouts that are perfect for scrapbooking Spring layout inspiration with a Summer vibe to it.
Nicole cut the stitched tags and made them into die cuts instead of tags for this layout. She sprayed green ink in the background and used bright patterned papers to make this layout stand out. She looks stunning in the photos!
Nicole then cut the heart from the tag to use as an embellishment. What a fun way to use these tags and who wouldn't love to see such unique ideas? This metal key was in her stash so she decided to embellish the end of the tag with it. She then added a few stickers and enamels.
5. SUNSHINE IN MY HEART Layout by Nicole Martel
For the second layout, Nicole used a good amount of stickers. Some stickers were mounted to the layout using glue dots to add dimension and added some green spray ink in the background.
She used bright patterned papers to get that summer look from our Spring kit. Used cut tags from her first layout and the red flower paper that compliments the photo. It's a simple elegant and perfect layout for your Spring memories inspiration. Watch her tutorial video below to follow along with the design and check out more of her layouts on her blog.
